The fine print for the Hugo Alarm Systems launch giveaway — one Core package with 24 months of fully comprehensive cover.
1. Promoter
The Promoter is Hugo Alarm Systems, of Bridgend, South Wales, United Kingdom. Correspondence about this promotion can be sent to hello@hugoalarms.com.

2. The prize
One (1) winner will receive a Hugo Alarm Systems Core package, professionally installed at their home in the Hugo service area, including:
- Premium smart home alarm system on the Ajax platform
- Professional installation by a vetted Hugo engineer
- Fully comprehensive cover for 24 months
- Parts, labour, servicing and 24/7 callouts included
The prize is non-transferable, has no cash alternative, and cannot be resold. Hugo reserves the right to substitute any part of the prize with an equivalent of equal or greater value where unavoidable.
3. Eligibility
To enter, you must:
- Be aged 18 or over.
- Be a homeowner (or have written permission from the homeowner) at a property within the Hugo service area — Bridgend County Borough and nominated surrounding South Wales postcodes.
- Have a property that is suitable for a standard Ajax alarm installation, subject to a free survey.
- Not be an employee of, or immediate family of an employee of, Hugo Alarm Systems.
4. How to enter
To enter the giveaway via the Hugo Alarm Systems social channels:
- Follow the Hugo Alarm Systems page (Instagram or Facebook).
- Like the launch giveaway post.
- Tag one person in the comments of that post.
Sharing the post to your story is optional and gives no additional entries. One entry per person. Duplicate entries from the same person will be removed.

5. Winner selection
One winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received before the closing date. The draw will be conducted by Hugo Alarm Systems within seven (7) days of the entry window closing.
The winner will be announced on the Hugo Alarm Systems page and contacted via direct message. The winner must respond within fourteen (14) days to claim the prize. If no response is received within that window, Hugo reserves the right to redraw.
6. Installation, content and survey
A free survey will be carried out at the winner's home to confirm the installation is suitable. Where possible, installation will be scheduled within thirty (30) days of the survey.
As part of entering, the winner agrees to allow Hugo Alarm Systems to take photographs and short video of the install for marketing purposes. No personal data, vehicle registrations, or distinguishing property details will be published without the winner's prior approval. The winner may request that any specific image is not used.
7. Data protection
Hugo Alarm Systems will only use entrants' details for the purpose of administering this promotion. Entrants' data will not be shared with third parties for marketing. The winner's data will be retained for the duration of their 24-month comprehensive-cover period for the purposes of providing the prize.

8. Platform notice
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, Meta Platforms Inc., or any social platform on which the promotion is shared. By entering, you release these platforms from any responsibility associated with the promotion.
9. General
Hugo Alarm Systems reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend this promotion at any time without notice in the event of any cause outside of its reasonable control. Decisions of Hugo Alarm Systems in all matters relating to the promotion are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
